Green Audit Committee

Our committee ensures a clean, green, and pollution-free campus, promoting awareness of environmental conservation through activities, competitions, expert lectures, and proper waste management.

Strategies and Recommendations

The committee will be responsible to ensure the following (Modus operandi)

  1. Maintenance of a clean pollution free campus.
  2. Creating awareness towards cleanliness and conservation of natural resources amongst students, teachers and employees.
  3. Ensure maintenance of greenery on the campus by undertaking tree plantation program on a regular basis.
  4. Organize different types of competitions addressing environmental protection and conservation.
  5. Invite renowned environmentalists on the campus to deliver expert lectures.
  6. Organize rallies in the neighbouring area for keeping the residential colonies neat and clean.
  7. Coordinate with NSS in interrelated areas covering greenery, pollution free campus and awareness creation activities.
  8. Proper management of E-waste and handing it over to pollution control board for disposal.
  9. Vermicomposting by using the food waste of Hostel and canteen.

Activities of the Committee

  1. 3 nature comps in year at any national park, sanctuaries and Eco tourism destination in March, December and January.
  2. Lake cleaning drive of Bhoj wetland in any months.
  3. Biodiversity Awareness programs in peripheral villages of Bhoj wetland in any month.
  4. Workshop and conference on Biodiversity Conservation.
  5. Plantation and Seed ball making.
  6. Biodiversity data preparation of Borvan Park as PBR.
