Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal has a Grievance Redressal Cell to address students' grievances promptly and confidentially, ensuring amicable solutions for their concerns.

Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal has evolved fruitful and useful mechanism to find out solutions for the day to day problems and grievances to the students.  Grievance Redressal Cell has been constitute in accordance with the regulations of UGC and the Principal of SHGC. The convenor of GR Cell is Dr. Madhavi Gaur and there are three other members as well in the cell.

The Grievance Redressal Cell has been formed solely to provide solutions for the grievances of the students which arise then & there. The students are fully free to submit their grievances regarding academic or personal matters in the meeting held on the every Friday of the week, by dropping in the suggestions boxes provided in our campus or sending through online email to santhirdaramgirlscollege@yahoo.com.

On receipt of the grievances the GR Cell scrutinizes, analyses carefully and discusses with the concerned person to find out an amicable solution without affecting the interests of both the parties. If the grievances are found to be not genuine, the students are explained about the reasons for not implementing them. In all cases maintain strict confidentiality is ensured by the Grievance Redressal Cell.

Objective

  • To ensure a fair, impartial and consistent mechanism for redressal of varied issues faced by the stakeholders.
  • To uphold the dignity of the Institute by promoting Cordial student- student Relationships, Student- Faculty Relationship.
  • To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among the stakeholders, thereby maintaining a harmonious atmosphere in the college campus.

To ensure that grievances are resolved promptly, objectively with sensitivity and in complete confidentiality.

Functions and Working Structure

  • To acquaint all the students about their rights and duties
  • To solve the various personal and academic related grievances of the students.
  • To create the institutional and student friendly environment.
  • To ensure the qualitative as well as quantitative development of the institution through the grievance and Redressal cell.

Procedure of Lodging Complaint

  • The College is sensitive towards its stakeholders and applies sufficient efforts to ensure their satisfaction. The GR Cell overview the status of problems and co-ordinates all the activities in consultation with higher authorities.
  • In order to give opportunity to students to express their problems & to communicate the same to the concern authorities of the College, suggestion boxes are placed in every wing of the college to facilitate student, teachers & employees to drop their suggestions/grievances in the prescribed format.
  • The GR Cell collects all the complaints on every Friday from the suggestion boxes, Departmental GR Cell, IQAC, Guardian Tutor Meet ,classified them according to their nature & properly recorded them according to their nature.
  • And further remedial actions and suggestions were taken by the members including Principal, judiciously & notified the same on the notice board also.
  • Students are free to personally approach to the higher authorities for the Redressal of their problem.
